We understand the importance of your personal information and will make every effort to keep your personal information secure and reliable.

Important content concerning your personal information rights has been highlighted in bold for your special attention. If you use VoxMeta Software Products and Services, you are deemed to have fully understood and agreed to this Policy and relevant agreements. We have also formulated certain specific personal information protection provisions for particular services. When using such related services, you shall comply with these supplementary terms.
2. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information
2.1 Non-Personally Identifiable Information
When you access or use VoxMeta Software Products and Services, embedded pages therein, or related services, to ensure normal product operation, page display, service security, troubleshooting, and experience optimization, we may collect necessary network access and usage record information, including access source, access time, access sequence, page browsing records, operation logs, download request records, device network information, etc.
2.2 Personally Identifiable Information
To ensure the normal operation, service security, troubleshooting, and functional optimization of VoxMeta software or services, we may collect information related to device and service operation, including personal online records and log information (such as software usage records, click records, operation logs, access time, download request records, etc.), as well as device information (such as device model, operating system type, network status, etc.). The aforementioned information may be used individually or in combination with other information to identify specific users. Therefore, we will process such information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and adopt appropriate security protection measures. Information that has been fully anonymized and cannot identify a specific natural person or be restored shall no longer be considered personal information.
2.3 Permissions Required for VoxMeta
(1) New Scan
When you create a new scan, we need to access your 3D scanner camera driver permission. If you refuse to authorize these permissions, you will be unable to use the scanning function.
(2) Data Storage
When you perform a scan, we need storage space permission. If you refuse to authorize, the 3D files generated by the scan cannot be saved on the terminal device.
When you edit model files within a project, we need to use storage space permission. If you refuse to authorize, you will be unable to perform any edits on the models in the project page.
(3) Wireless Connection
When you control wireless connection through the software, we need Bluetooth and Wi-Fi permissions. If you refuse to authorize, you will be unable to connect to devices wirelessly.
(4) Screenshot and Screen Recording
When you use screenshot and screen recording functions, we need storage space permission or photo album permission. If you refuse to authorize, you will be unable to save screenshot images and screen recording videos.
(5) Device Activation Verification
To safeguard your legitimate rights and ensure the security of your purchased device, we will collect relevant information about your device when you use VoxMeta Software Products and Services. We need to obtain the following information: device SN code, device model information, IP Address, and last activation time. This information will be used for the activation verification of scanner devices and to prevent pirated use. If you refuse to provide this information, you will be unable to use the scanning device.
2.4 Cookies, Log Files
We or our third-party partners may obtain and use your information through COOKIES and store such information as log information. By using COOKIES, we provide users with a simple and easy online experience. A COOKIE is a small amount of data that is sent from a web server to your browser and stored on your computer's hard drive. We use COOKIES to benefit our users. For example, to make your visit to the Vision3D official website faster, you may choose to store your username in a COOKIE. This way, the next time you want to visit Vision3D, it will be more convenient and quicker. COOKIES help us determine the pages and content you connect to. You should be able to control whether and how COOKIES are accepted by your browser; please refer to the documentation that comes with your browser for more information on this.
2.5 Third-Party Services, Embedded Pages, and Sharing Explanation
To ensure the normal operation of VoxMeta Software Products and Services, facilitate information display, file storage, version update distribution, and network security, we may provide help centers, product documentation, or related explanatory pages within our products through embedded web pages, page redirects, or link jumps. We may also use infrastructure services such as cloud computing, storage, and network transmission provided by third parties.
When you access the aforementioned pages or use related functions, necessary network request information, access logs, device network information, download request records, etc., may be generated for page display, service operation, content distribution, troubleshooting, and security assurance. In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and taking into account the actual third-party services integrated, we will disclose to you the name of the relevant third-party service provider, purpose of use, types of information processed, usage scenarios, and sharing methods through this Privacy Policy, the List of Third Parties with Whom Personal Information is Shared, or relevant page descriptions.
The Help Center/Documentation Center pages within this product are managed and operated by us based on a self-deployed Wiki.js system. These pages are our self-built web services and do not constitute third-party SDKs.
Currently, we use cloud servers and object storage services provided by Alibaba Cloud for relevant page deployment and operation, file storage, and software update package upload, storage, and distribution. Alibaba Cloud services may process necessary access requests, logs, or stored data while providing infrastructure and storage capabilities; Alibaba Cloud OSS is also a form of object storage service.
We will conduct a prudent assessment of third-party service providers we engage and urge them, through security management measures, to process relevant information within a legal, legitimate, and necessary scope. If you discover that a relevant third-party service poses risks to personal information protection, you may stop using the related function and contact us through the contact information provided in this Privacy Policy. We will handle the matter promptly in accordance with the law.

Service Type: Lightweight Application Server, Object Storage Service (OSS)
Purpose of Use: To facilitate the deployment and operation of help documentation pages, file storage, software update package upload, storage, and distribution; to ensure service stability and security.
Types of Information Potentially Processed: IP address, network request information, access logs, download request records.
Usage Scenarios: When users access the Help Center/Documentation Center pages; when users download software update packages; when the system performs file storage, resource retrieval, and version update distribution.
Sharing Method: Hosting, storage, transmission, and distribution through cloud servers and object storage infrastructure provided by Alibaba Cloud.
3. Purpose of Collecting Personal Information
We collect personal information to provide better VoxMeta Software Products and Services to all the users.
3.1 By authorizing storage write and read operations, as well as camera functionality, you can smoothly use VoxMeta and the SDK. Analyze bugs that occur during APP operation through the logging function to improve our products and services. Use Cookie caching technology to enable you to access the Vison3D website more quickly.
3.2 Exceptions to obtaining authorized consent. According to relevant laws, regulations, and national standards, the collection of your information in the following situations does not require obtaining your authorized consent:
(1) When related to national security or national defense security;
(2) When related to public safety, public health, or major public interests;
(3) When related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of sentences, etc.;
(4) When it is necessary to protect the vital legitimate rights and interests, such as life and property, of the information subject or other individuals, but it is difficult to obtain your consent;
(5) When the information collected has been publicly disclosed by you voluntarily;

4. How We Store Your Personal Information
4.1 Storage Duration: We will take reasonable and practicable measures to avoid collecting irrelevant personal information. After the retention period expires, we will delete your personal information or take technical measures for anonymization, except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations.
4.2 Storage Location: In accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations, personal information collected and generated during domestic operations will be stored within the territory of the People's Republic of China. VoxMeta Software Products and Services are primarily targeted at adults. According to relevant laws and regulations, minor users need their parents or guardians to be informed and give consent before using them.
In cases where children's personal information is collected with parental consent, we will only use or publicly disclose such information when permitted by law, with the explicit consent of parents or guardians, or when necessary to protect the child.
